50/50 Raffle FAQs

Who is eligible to purchase 50/50 Raffle tickets?

The raffle is open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia that are of the age of eighteen or older as of the date of the raffle. Any employee, full-time and seasonal, and their immediate family members of the Spurs Sports and Entertainment, their partner organizations or affiliates of the NBA and are not eligible to participate in the raffle.

How long are the 50/50 Raffle tickets sold?

Spurs Give 50/50 Raffle sellers will be selling tickets from the time gates open until the end of the 3rd quarter of Spurs home games and the end of halftime of SAFC home games.

Where will the raffle tickets be sold?

Raffle tickets will be sold on all levels of the stadium at various kiosk stations placed in high traffic areas, as well as roaming sellers who will be walking up and down the aisles of sections. The main kiosk is located in Section 101 across from Guest Services.

Is the amount shown what I win?

No, the amount shown is the total amount of the jackpot. The winner will receive

half of the net proceeds from number shown. Based off the winning amount,

taxes and fees may be deducted

When and where will the winning number be displayed?

The winning number will be announced during the fourth (4th) quarter or second (2) half of the game. This winning number will be displayed on the jumbotron located above center court as well as all kiosk screens located throughout the stadium. Post-game, the winning information can be found on spursgive.org/5050

Do I have to be present to win?

No. The ticket holder doesn’t need to be present to win. The ticket holder is given seven business days to claim their winnings.

Where do I collect my half of the jackpot?

The winner should contact Spurs Give by e-mailing [email protected] for claim instructions or visit spursgive.org/5050 for further winner claiming information.

Are the raffle tickets tax deductible?

The IRS states that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries, or similar programs are not gifts, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.

Will the winner receive their money on the night of the game?

No, after paperwork is filled out, the winner will receive a check with the winnings

within 45 days.

What type of payment is accepted?

Raffle sellers will only accept debit and credit cards.

Where can I find a reverse ATM? Currently, there are three reverse ATM locations within the Frost Bank Center located near Sections 6, 102 & 207. These ATMs will allow you to submit cash for a prepaid card.

What happens if I do not claim my prize?

After seven business days, unclaimed prizes will be donated in full to Spurs Give.

Where does the other half of the money go?
50% of the 50/50 Raffle sales of the applicable game will be retained by Spurs Give, the official nonprofit of Spurs Sports and Entertainment.
