SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 20, 2020) – Spurs Give, the official nonprofit of Spurs Sports & Entertainment, and The DoSeum today unveiled the children museum’s latest Spurs-themed “Pull-Up Jumper” exhibit at The DoSeum, located at 2800 Broadway St.

The new exhibit was unveiled with the help of The Coyote, the Spurs Hype Squad and 350 students from surrounding schools following remarks from SS&E Chairman Peter J. Holt, SS&E Board of Managers and Spurs Give Board of Directors member Corinna Holt Richter, SS&E Executive Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Relations Bobby Perez, former Spurs player and current Spurs Broadcast Analyst Sean Elliott, and DoSeum CEO Dan Menelly. The interactive Spurs experience offers young fans the chance to step into the world of the Silver and Black by testing their abilities to work as a team.

“Spurs Give is thrilled to partner with The DoSeum on this exciting new exhibit that will serve as a foundation for children to work together and develop lifelong skills through hands-on play and critical thinking,” said Jennifer Regnier, Executive Director of Spurs Give. “We share a deep appreciation and love for our city, and our youth and remain fiercely devoted to helping and investing in future generations by offering them a safe and instructive space to have family fun.”

The Coyote-themed Pull-Up Jumper will be the first stop guests encounter at The DoSeum. Visitors can try their hand at using a pulley system to send a ball into a series of basketball hoops. In a fun and interactive way, children can get hands-on experience by learning about the mechanics of pulleys and gravitational forces in motion.

“As we celebrate one of our first important milestones with our five-year anniversary, it gives me great pleasure to partner with the Spurs, one of the greatest symbols and examples of San Antonio pride,” said DoSeum CEO Dan Menelly. “I am delighted to see that The DoSeum’s work is being recognized and supported by this generous gift from Spurs Give. I cannot wait to see children’s minds at play in the Spurs Pulley Up Jumper.”
